Grub Food Fair at the Runaway Brewery 2016 Grand Finale

GRUB are bringing their Grub Food Fair at Runaway Brewery to an end for 2016 but not without putting together one of their biggest street food parties of the year with two very special guest traders.

After a hugely successful Summer of events at the Green Quarter brewery Grub & Runaway Brewery are bringing their partnership to a close before the winter weather rolls in.  Both partners will be moving on to producing new events though and attending the closing party will mean you’re the first to find out what they’ll both be up to.

Street food traders include Smak (proper charcoal grilled kielbasa all produced by hand), Savage Cabbage (absolutely top notch sarnies, salt beef & grilled cheese ahoy), The Ottö-Men (contemporary Ottoman & Mediterranean cuisine) as well as two special guests.  Firstly we have Pollen Bakery who are Manchester's newest and most exciting bakehouse bringing French standard pastries and sweet treats, this will be the first chance for many Mancunians to try these prestigious baked goods. The second is Mumma Schnitzel, one of the biggest and best street food traders of Manchester’s original scene who have been off the street feeding the diners of Altrincham Market House and previous to that being a shining star of The Kitchens in Spinningifelds. Their perfect chicken schnitzel burgers haven’t been seen at a street food event for a very long time and this may well be a one off appearance.

As can be expected in a brewery Runaway Brewery will be supplying an array of their beers fresh from the tanks including their IPA and Pale Ale which are firm Manchester favourites alongside a number of specials whilst Steep Soda will be running a boozey, craft soda bar matching their natural fizzy pops with premium spirits.  Whilst guests enjoy the cracking food and drink they’ll also be listening to some of Manchester’s best alternative DJs playing soul, funk, folk, hip hop and plenty more.
