12 Things to do in Manchester Over Pride Weekend

Not only is it a Bank Holiday weekend, it is also Manchester Pride this weekend! The city really does come to life with celebration, colour and festivities over the three day weekend so you can expect a lot going on that you can get stuck into.

1. Check Out the Manchester Pride Parade 

The parade is probably our favourite part of the weekend with businesses, organisations and groups building some incredible floats and dressing in stunning costumes taking to the streets. The parade starts in Deansgate from 12pm and takes a route through the city. You can expect music to dance to, bright colours and a buzzing atmosphere.

2. Randall & Aubin Rainbow Cocktail 

There are plenty of brands getting into the Pride spirit across Manchester, Randall & Aubin being one with their Rainbow Wheel Pride cocktail made up of different Bellini's. £1 from each sale will go towards The Proud Trust, an organisation that helps LGBT+ youth in Manchester. Whilst you’re there, check out their delicious menu packed with some of the best seafood around.

3. Pride Make-up & Glitter 

If you really want to get into the Pride spirit then get colourful with colourful make-up and glitter available inside Manchester Arndale. It’s just £2 and all the money goes towards the Manchester Pride charity.

4. Pendulum Garden Bar & Pride Drinks 

Situated on Sackville Street, right by one of the stations to exchange your e-ticket for your wristband, as well as being right by the Parade route. Pendulum Hotel has a stunning garden bar which allows you to take a minute to relax, enjoy the Manchester sun whilst taking advantage of their Pride offers. Selected cocktails including their Taste the Rainbow Pride special are £6, selected shots are 3 for £5. You can also grab a bite to eat with breakfast rolls from £2.50 served between 8am and 11am with burgers then available for £3.95 from 11am until 2pm.

5. Seven Bro7hers Pride Session IPA 

Check out Seven Bro7hers not only for their incredible beer and burgers but for their special Session IPA Pride cans! Adding a bit of Pride flair and colour to the can, you can enjoy a chilled beer out in the sun or within their buzzing beerhouse.

7. House of Kai Pride Brunch 

Looking for a Pride brunch to kick off the weekend then why not try House of Kai. You get five meze dishes and unlimited prosecco / strawberry daiquiris! The Turkish cuisine is full of flavour and is a lovely variance on the typical bottomless brunch.

Globe in Chorlton is a warm and welcoming venue and they are offering a free drink with any two small plates or one big plate on Sunday and Monday, making it the ideal spot to head after a heavy Saturday night.
