Head down to Seven Bro7hers Beerhouse in Ancoats and enjoy the full beer tasting experience in the lovely relaxed atmosphere. The beer tasting is led by a Cicerone certified member of the Seven Bro7hers team who will talk you through not only the delicious six beers you taste (1/3 pints) but the history of the brand. To help work up a thirst you will also be served up some hand-cooked beer inspired snacks to tuck into as you ask any questions.

3. Beefeater Gin Masterclass - Brasserie ABode Manchester

This fantastic offering from the ABode gives you the chance to enjoy five exotic cocktails or paired drinks alongside a five-course meal, all presented by a Beefeater expert. Learn about the history of the drink and delve into a complete masterclass led by one of the country's best loved distillers. As one of the most awarded gins in the world you will learn some tips and tricks of the trade as you sit down to enjoy a complete evening.

4. Les Miserables - Palace Theatre

The world-famous show is still going strong and selling out at the Palace Theatre. Enjoy this unforgettable experience in all its glory as you get caught up in the moment, lost in the French revolution. The new staging will blow you away and continues the legacy of the show which has now been seen by over 120 million people worldwide. Killian Donnelly takes up the role of Jean Valjean for the UK and Ireland tour so you can expect a truly memorable performance.

5. Gin School - Manchester Three Rivers

Ranked as the number one thing to do in Manchester on Trip Advisor, the Manchester Three Rivers gin experience is something special. A journey through time as you learn all about the history of gin, right from the first batch all the way to the recent years which has seen the gin market boom. Throughout the entire experience you are never left without a drink as Three Rivers showcase drinks from through the years as well as their own perfect serve. 6. Alternative Afternoon Tea - Brewski

When you hear afternoon tea you think of scones with clotted cream and jam served alongside some sandwiches and tea. Not at Brewski, one look at this and you will want it. Three tiers of sliced steak, fried chicken, deep fried Brie, frickles (deep fried pickles), pulled pork sliders, mac n cheese and a side of their famous poutine and more plus either a gin and tonic pot or pitcher of beer for two. You can pick that jaw up off the floor now.
