There are several designs and colours to choose from, with a women's fit also available, they're all sold through Affinity Print. All orders are printed on demand so there's no cost to MAD Walkers, and postage & packaging are included in the cost.

We did consider the opportunity to increase the price to include a small donation to MAD Walkers, but the committee voted against it for the time being.

A massive thanks to Charlotte Holroyd for the fantastic designs - we're hopeful that if these prove popular there will be further designs to follow.

As Affinity Print are processing payments and orders, please direct any queries as regards your order to them directly.

Happy ordering and please do tag @madwalkers in your modelling photos!

Luke's Story

Before I became a Rambler I'd done a bit of walking with a couple of friends, but I wouldn't really have called myself an experienced hiker. They'd organise the walks and I'd tag along if I was free... Read More

Yvonne's Story

I got into walking when a friend of mine invited me to go out walking. I'd walked places since I was child, but I'd never done any group walking or hiking. I'd thought it was just about putting one foot... Read More

What to expect

GEAR

British weather is unpredictable, so it is a good idea to bring some warm waterproof clothing, including Walking Boots. For most of our walks you will be out all day, so you should bring some lunch and a drink with you as well. For some walks you may also need to bring along a headtorch with you.

FITNESS

Our walks vary in difficulty, so whatever your level of fitness there should be something for you. If you haven't been walking for a while, look out for Leisurely or Moderate walks. For something more challenging, try a Strenuous walk. If you have any queries, just ask!

Our Walks

From epic hikes in the peak district to gentle meanders around the rolling Cheshire hills, we have walks to suit all levels of fitness. We have a varied itinerary of day walks at weekends and also evening weekday walks during summer months. We use both car and public transport to access the many excellent walking areas around Manchester and beyond.

Our weekends away are also very popular as they give our members a cost-effective and social way to explore other areas of the country not so easily accessible with a day trip. Here are some shots from some of our amazing walks and weekends ...

Nature is not a place to visit, it is home.
