AJ Bell Great Manchester Run

The AJ Bell Great Manchester Run brings tens of thousands of runners to the streets of Manchester, offering a choice of a 10k or Half Marathon with live music, entertainment zones and strong local support from start to finish.

AJ Bell Great Manchester Run returns to Manchester on 31 May 2026, with runners able to choose between a 10k or Half Marathon. The event is known for its energetic atmosphere, entertainment zones, live music and loud local support along the route.

Start and finish
Both races start on Portland Street (near the junction with Oxford Street) and finish on Deansgate, Manchester.

Event timetable (provisional):

• 08:00 – Half Marathon waves
• 11:45 – 10k waves

Entry and eligibility:

• Minimum age: 15+ for the 10k and 17+ for the Half Marathon (on event day)
• A booking fee of £3.00 per entry is applied at checkout
