Presented as part of a year of cultural celebrations following the Sister City Agreement between Osaka and Greater Manchester, the renowned Osaka Philharmonic appears in Manchester with Viktoria Mullova as soloist in Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto No. 2, followed by Dvorák’s radiant Eighth Symphony and a symphonic fantasy by Hisatada Otaka.
