Stanza Stones 50 Mile Ultra - Winter Edition

A 50-mile winter ultra on a 24-hour time limit through the South Pennines, visiting the six Stanza Stones from Marsden to Ilkley.

This 50-mile winter ultra visits all six Stanza Stones while crossing the spectacular South Pennines moorland. The course also passes through Haworth, home of the Brontë Sisters, before climbing over Ilkley Moor towards the finish. The Stanza Stones feature poetry by Simon Armitage, with stones named Snow, Rain, Mist, Dew, Puddle and Beck.
