Snapped: Dig the City 2014

Manchester's annual urban gardening festival, 'Dig the City' returned for another fun filled weekend. With a fete, flowers and food, the festival catered for all your floral and culinary needs - and had plenty to occupy the kids! We went along to join in the green fingered fun..

The vast array of horticultural highlights included the wonderful Show Gardens, which showcases many unique and interesting things, from the botanical - Tatton Park, local landscape gardeners, charities and businesses - to the historical, as Ordsall Hall bring an edible Tudor Garden to the festival.

Talks were also held by special guests including; TV's leading garden experts Diarmuid Gavin and Rachel de Thame, as well as plant swaps, arts and craft markets, fine food, and not forgetting the live music!
