MANCHESTER’S SUN-TRAP ROOF TERRACE YOU PROBABLY DIDN’T KNOW ABOUT

Manchester’s got a sun-trap roof terrace you probably didn’t know about, and you’ll find it hidden at the top of a crazy golf club! Junkyard Golf Club’s south-facing roof terrace is reopening for the Summer, right in time for the Easter bank holiday weekend, and it gets the sun all day.

The outdoor terrace has its very own bar with its own cocktail and slushy menu, so you don’t even have to go back inside just to grab a drink. If it’s the usual Junkyard favourites you’re after, you can pop inside for a classic like a frozen margarita or a Junkyard fan favourite bubblegum-flavoured Fizz Pop, topped with popping candy.

The best thing? You can choose what mood you’re in – if you fancy a game of crazy golf then you can spend some time inside for some air-conned relief on a hot day, with a round of crazy golf and an ice cold cocktail outside after, to sip on over your golf debrief.

Or if you only want to catch rays, head straight in and out to the terrace for a drinks in the sun. Junkyard’s got a whole menu of boozy and non-boozy slushies to keep you cool on a warm day, plus all the usual candy-garnished cocktails to dose up on. If pints in the sun are more your thing, Junkyard are celebrating the launch of their new food menu with a new bite and a pint deal - grab any house pint and any nachos or kebab for a tenner.

Junkyard Golf Club’s roof terrace reopens Friday 3rd April, on Good Friday. Find Junkyard near Deansgate-Castlefield tram stop, on First Street.
