The place has to be up there with everyone's favourite Irish pubs due to the live music alone. With 12 live acts performing over St Patrick's Day weekend and the final day of the Six Nations also being shown, you just can't go wrong. 2. Waxy O'Connors

Location: The Printworks

Situated in The Printworks Waxy's is easily found and even easier to stay in all day and night. With everything from a Guinness experience, live Six Nations, whiskey nights and of course a bit of live music to get everyone on their feet and dancing. 3. Corner Boy

Location: Northern Quarter

Corner Boy is a cracking Irish bar and deli in the Northern Quarter and we couldn't leave this beauty off our list. Get yourselves over there for some Irish stew all washed down with a spot on pint of the black stuff as you soak up the buzz! 4. O'Sheas

Location: Princess Street

Serving the people of Manchester for over 20 years O'sheas has really become an important part of the city. The friendly atmosphere gets everyone involved whether it be engrossed in sport, cheersing your pint or toe tapping to some live traditional Irish music.
