MIMOD’s Kitchen Launches Manchester’s Newest Weekend Brunch Hotspot!

MIMOD’s Kitchen (Most Important Meal of the Day) is launching a weekly kitchen takeover every Saturday and Sunday, providing an innovative and hand-made brunch menu served at the cool bar-cumstudio Redbank Co.

Bringing Aussie flair and Brooklyn vibes to the city centre!

After hosting a series of successful ‘brinner’ supper clubs at the venue throughout 2017, this year the pop-up that believes in breakfast is taking it up a notch with a permanent home.

With a menu inspired by her time working in the brunch capital of the world, Sydney, chef and founder
Stephanie Sowden has also drawn on inspiration from the Middle-East and New York to make sure that
there’s something for everyone.

Highlights of the regular menu include sweet and white potato black pudding hash with a fried egg and
home-made pineapple ketchup, as well as the ever-popular sweetcorn fritter stack with red pesto, balsamic roasted tomatoes and crumbled feta cheese. Weekly specials, and options for vegan and glutenfree feasts round off the eclectic offering for a break from your standard eggs benny and avo on toast.

After honing her pastry and chef skills at Observer Food Monthly award winner Altrincham Market, as
well as time spent exploring kitchens in London and Australia, Steph is excited for MIMOD’s Kitchen to
feed the Mancunian masses every week.

I’ve always loved breakfast and brunch, and it’s been amazing to see the supper clubs grow over the last
year. With more private bookings and enquiries about upcoming events it seemed like a natural time to
develop our relationship with Redbank!

The weekly kitchen takeover is part of the venue’s Food Incubator programme, offering independent
chefs and foodies the space and support to flex their creativity.

I adored the space as soon as I hosted my first supper club there last February, Steph continued, and the
photography connection is fantastic for getting some proper food porn snaps of my dishes.

With a supper club inspired by LA Story on March 3rd, the weekend takeover commences the following
week on March 10th and will serve Saturdays and Sundays 9am—3pm.
